Goodbyes

Moon kissed cheeks, plum tree blossoms,
Eyes languid with sleep, your head is drooping,
Weight of snow on spring flowers.
There is but dark and sleep before we let
Our dreams in wispy mist go, rippling out
Upon mountain peaks and clouds of fog and snow.

Lie down my loves, and let the fragrant petals
Fall from your fingers...
Sail onwards in your boats of dry reeds to
the horizon where summer sun kissed the ocean
and slipping into darkness where the milky void awaits.
Sail onwards without your tears to fall as no one
yet knows their fate.
